Sharing & permissions
Your business data should be shared with the right people — and only the right people. Nous gives you Drive-style sharing: everything starts private to you, and you decide what to open up, to whom, and whether they can just view it or also make changes.
What you can control
- Share with a person. Give one teammate access to a specific client roster, note, or dashboard.
- Share with a team. Grant a whole group — say your sales team — access at once, and it stays right as people join or leave.
- Share across the workspace. Make something available to everyone in your company when it's meant to be common knowledge.
- View vs. edit. Decide whether someone can only read, or can also change things.
How it works
Every item — a collection, a note, a dashboard, a process — has its own sharing settings. Nothing is visible to a teammate until you share it, and when you share a whole workflow like a process, the things it needs come along with the right access automatically. Your assistant only ever sees and acts on what you actually have access to, so permissions are enforced no matter how you're working.
Try it
Share the Clients roster with the sales team so they can edit it, and share the renewals dashboard with everyone in the company as view-only.

Sharing applies to every feature — collections, notes, dashboards, and processes all use the same controls.
